COVID-19 Update

Important Update from Barnes Chiropractic Healthcare: We are open during Lock-down.

We wold like to reassure you that National Restrictions that came into force in England put no restriction on us being open or your ability to attend. We are classified as health care and specifically exempt from having to close. As essential health care providers, visiting is not only seen as essential travel, but your appointment is also viewed as a medical reason to leave your home and, of course, is well within the latest Governments guidelines.

We would ask that all our visiting patients please kindly adhere to the following:

  • Do not attend the clinic if you have any Covid-19 related symptoms. Stay at home and call 111. The main symptoms are raised temperature, new persistent cough, change to or loss of smell or taste.
  • Do not attend the clinic if you have been in contact, even if only briefly, with someone showing signs of Covid-19 symptoms, even if undiagnosed.
  • If possible please take your temperature before your visit and wear a face covering
  • Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible.
  • On arrival at the clinic please ensure you use the hand sanitiser on the reception desk or hand washing liquid and paper towels in the restroom.

We have taken advice to minimise risks during your visits to our clinic, including use of PPE and other safeguards and protocols.

  • Patients can no longer wait in the reception area. You will be shown to your treatment room. The treatment couch will have been cleaned for your visit, please use to sit on should you wish, not the chairs.
  • Only one patient per clinic area will be allowed at any point in time (either in treatment room or standing at reception desk). Please abide by the 2m distance if you cross paths with anyone else other than the chiropractor.
  • All surfaces a patient comes in contact with will be cleaned between each patient visit.
  • Unfortunately, we must request that after your treatment, payment and re-booking, you leave the premises promptly in order to keep the numbers within the clinic at a minimum and give us time to carry out the necessary cleaning.
